In an earlier post, we have discussed the importance of structure in a PPT presentation. An article on Forbes magazine, gives further insights on how this can be done. The article, titled ‘5 Quick Ways to Organize a Presentation’ is written by Nick Morgan. Morgan sums it up brilliantly – ‘At the heart of a successful presentation is a clear structure.’
The article suggests that the presentation structure should depend on the ‘nature of the talk’ or the presentation. Morgan covers five possible situations which require you to deliver a presentation; To report progress (of project, sales etc), To train or to teach (about product or skills) and more. Each situation demands a different kind of presentation structure which has been discussed in the article.
