I’d never heard the term Sochi till it came up on the news as the 2014 Olympics host city. And when I googled Olympic host cities, I realized that I couldn’t even recall the last 10 host cities! So I thought why not use our Editable PPT World Maps to show the last 10 Olympic host cities starting with the Sochi 2014 Olympics. And for good measure , I also added the next three Olympic host cities in the map too.
For this exercise, I only needed to list the locations of the host cities and use a rounded rectangle for the label. Other than that, for the label colors to appear prominent, all I had to do was choose a mild color for the map.
Now you can clearly see the ten Olympic host cities preceding the Sochi 2014 Olympics as well as the subsequent three.
