Excel sheets and charts are an easy way to process and present all kinds of data. Consultants can use Excel sheets and charts in PowerPoint to illustrate annual sales figures, balance sheets, HR data, performance graphs and so on. It is important to structure the data properly when using an Excel sheet. Columns and rows that contain the critical numbers or data points should be highlighted through use of bright colors and graphs should be kept simple so that the audience can understand the information being conveyed at a glance.
Excel sheets and charts should be kept to a minimum however and the PowerPoint should not be a series of tables and graphs as the audience would have difficulty keeping their attention on the flood of data being presented.
