Animating your PowerPoint Presentations is a great way to make visually attractive presentations. Microsoft PowerPoint gives a lot of space to the presenter for creativity. You can also create Video-like PPT presentations to wow your audience.
Microsoft Office Lab had launched a project sometime back called pptPlex. In their own words pptPlex “uses Plex technology to give you the power to zoom in and out of slide sections and move directly between slides that are not sequential in your presentation”. It is an “alternative method of presenting Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 slides”
With pptPlex you can make your presentations very interactive. It allows the user to make one overall presentation and then zoom in on individual parts for detailed explanations. These can be Timelines, Project Overviews etc.
pptPlex as an experiment is over but since Microsoft got great reviews, users can still download it from their website. pptPlex works on both PowerPoint 2010 and PowerPoint 2007, so don’t worry if you don’t have the latest version of PowerPoint. Click here to download pptPlex.
