Stock images are good! And with PowerPoint 2013, clip art is no longer happening. But then again, all the stock images out there are so shiny and glossy. Slowly but surely, I’ve been yearning for grayscale, grainy and coarse images in presentations. It’s a personal choice really but why not? And thankfully, PowerPoint has the ability in its Picture Tools to create the vintage look effect in my presentation images.
We have many more simple and effective PowerPoint tutorials which you can learn quickly and apply easily.
Let’s take a modern image and turn it into a Vintage style image.
Step #1: Double-click on an image.
Notice that the Picture Tools menu gets highlighted.
Step #2: On the left side of the Drawing Tools menu, click on Color
Step #3: Select desired effect
You can set the tone of you picture anyway you like it.
You can even add a frame on your image by double clicking on your image > Picture Tools > Format and choose any style from the Picture Style Library.
