Even though there is so much data and advice on how presentations should be made and what elements must be considered, there is no shortage of bad presentations. Dave Paradi of the blog “Think Outside the Slide” carried out the 2011 Annoying PowerPoint survey. The top reasons for displeasure among the respondents were when the speaker read out slides during presentations and when the slides were full of text instead of proper bulleted lists.
