TJ Walker on Presenting with Someone Else's PowerPoint Slides

If you are in a position where you give many PowerPoint presentations, it is likely that you have had to present using somebody else’s slides. Sometimes the PowerPoint presentations are quite bad – they are filled with text, the colour combinations are really bad, and there is not a single visual element in the slideshow. TJ Walker raised this very point on the Forbes Blog.
In an article titled Making The Best Of A Bad Situation, Mr Walker has discussed what you can do in such a situation, especially when you cannot change anything about the slides.

First of all don’t panic. As the article states, there still are things you can extract out of such a presentation. Mr Walker has given significant tips should you ever find yourself in such a situation. He says that it is important that you find out the main idea of the presentation and focus on that.
