Tracking Change in the Middle East with Editable PPT Maps of Yemen

by Saudha Kasim on March 26, 2011

As the revolutions across the Arab world move through various stages, those interested in the Middle East will need visual tools such as maps to accurately communicate their information and research findings about the region.

One country that is right now in the throes of civil unrest is Yemen, located in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. Yemeni military leaders have turned against the long reigning President, Ali Abdullah Saleh, and sided with the people in trying to bring about political reform. Protesters are demanding the resignation of the President who has ruled the country for more than three decades.

24point0’s editable Yemen map deck has been created in PowerPoint itself, thus making it easy to customize the maps in terms of text, fonts, colors and scale.

Most of the protests have taken place in the capital Sana’a – one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world.
