Looking for books on presentation skills? If you are interested in improving your presentation skills there are many books which you can read. Here is a small list:
- Made to Stick by Chip & Dan Heath
- Presentation Zen by Garr Reynolds
- Slide:ology by Nancy Duarte
Made to Stick is a book on communications. It talks about how you can make your message stickier so that the audience remembers what you have said and can take action upon that. An excellent resource if you want to make your content solid.
Presentation Zen is a book by the most illustrious person on the presentation blogosphere. Garr is the person behind the blog ‘Presentation Zen’ and a book by the same name. In this book you will find matter on how to plan your presentation, how to design your slides and how to deliver your presentation. It is a book dedicated to presentations. A word of caution: It is not a book of quick tips and tricks. It is for people who really want to take the long (and right) route to presentation nirvana.
Slide:ology is perhaps one of the most read books on Presentation today. It has been authored by Nancy Duarte. Nancy’s company Duarte Design was the force behind designing the famous Al Gore presentation on climate change. This is also a complete presentation manual and touched upon all the essential elements of a presentation.
