PowerPoint Tutorial: How to Create Pencil Sketch Effect in PowerPoint
So your presentations are good - valuable information, insightful data coupled with your delivery style and timely sense of humor. And yes, you use lots of images to reinforce your pitch and the content of your presentation. But lately, you’ve wished that the images didn’t look like stock images. But hand drawn images take time and are expensive too. Until now! We’re going to show you how you can create a pencil sketch effect for your images on PowerPoint itself!
- Draw a box. Right click and go to Format Picture. Under Fill click on Picture or Texture fill. From the Texture dropdown select Newsprint.
- Type the text and place it on top of the texture
- Cut the text or hit CTRL+X and paste it using Paste Special by holing CTRL+ALT+V. Choose Picture (PNG) and click OK
- Right click on the PNG image and go to Format Picture. Click on Artistic Effects option and from the Artistic Effect dropdown select Pencil Grayscale and click close.
