Step 1: Pick the oval shape from the Drawing Ribbon. Draw a round circle while holding down the Shift Key

Step 2: Right click on the circle and choose Format Shape

Step 3: Go to Fill, select Gradient

Step 4: Select the first gradient stop on the left. Click on the color dropdown and choose a 35% gray color

Step 5: Repeat the process by clicking/selecting the second gradient stop on the right. Click on the color dropdown and choose a 35% gray color.

Step 6: Click on the first gradient stop and leave the value for Transparency as 0%

Step 7: Click on the second gradient stop and enter the value for Transparency as 100%

Step 8: Select the Line Color option and click on No line

Now that we got the first circle made let's add the glassy effect to it.

Step 9: Draw another oval shape on top of the gray circle but leave some space from the top, as you can see in figure 9, about 1 to 2 point thickness.

Step 10: The first and the second gradient stop needs to be filled with White

Step 11: On the second gradient stop adjust the transparency level to 100%

Step 12: Select the Line Color option and click on No line

Step 13: To change the color of the circle or the bubble copy and paste the circle along with the effect (oval shape) as you can see in figure 13.

Step 14: Right click on the circle only (not the effect/oval shape) go to Fill and simply click on the gradient stops and choose the color that you like.
