Make Presentations Interactive

September 26, 2013 By //  by Fivestarly Lathong Leave a Comment

A two-way exchange of ideas and knowledge is much better than a one-way discourse. When you invite interaction you ‘draw in’ the audience, and they tend to contribute, participate and ‘take home’ key points of your presentation more easily. How can you make your presentations interactive? You can achieve interaction through something as simple as a show of hands and an open-ended question or by using technology.

Today, there are a host of companies offering great ways to add interactivity to your presentation. Did you know  you can include a quick, interesting quiz for your audience? How about asking them to ’email’ in questions while you are presenting, and you can answer them all at the end of the session.
You can even you can have an online twitter poll with instant results right on your presentation slides. Did you know you can have hi-tech audience polls with the results displayed instantly? Based on the results, you could then address specific sections of the audience.
