If you have to create many PowerPoint presentations and reuse a lot of graphic content, then the Clip Organizer is a heaven-sent application. The Clip Organizer can gather and store graphics, photos, animation, sounds and other media clips. When you open it for the first time, it scans your computer for all types of media files and organizes this into various galleries, depending on type. You can choose to reorganize the galleries later on.
However, before working with Clip Organizer, you will have to save the graphics you most need as image files. To do this, select all elements of the graphic and group them as one (Home>Drawing>Arrange>Group). Select the grouped image and right click and choose Save as Picture…If you need editable graphics, save the image either as a Windows Metafile (.wmf) or Enhanced Windows Metafile (.emf).
After you’ve finished saving all the graphics you require as independent image files, open the Microsoft Office Clip Organizer (Start>Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office2007 Tools>Clip Organizer). Clip Organizer can automatically add clips or lets the user choose them manually. To automatically add clips to Clip Organizer, go to File>Add Clips to Organizer>Automatically or if you want to select which clips have to be added, choose the On My Own option.
You can modify the clip collections at any time. To insert a clip from the Clip Organizer, go to Insert>Images>Clip Art and choose the required file.
