Best Timeline Illustrations

Timelines are a great way to explain a series of events that have brought us to where we are now. They effectively let the speaker or presenter cut back on a lengthy explanation, and let the info graph do the talking. Here are some examples of timelines that we loved.

1.    The Lego Brick 50th Anniversary Timeline

2.    The author has used an innovative ‘time lime’ graph to talk about his all time favorite literary work, in the order they were published. Think how boring this one would be if it were just written out, or put in an unimaginative graph.

3.    This is a time-line info graphic about the most winning tennis champs over time. This one is very beautifully done, and we especially like the ‘overlap’ zigzags!
