PERT Charts are here to stay! At some point in the not-so-distant future, a busy project manager planning a complex project will probably be able to just snap his fingers for a Jeeves-like project planning robot to appear and sort out the nitty gritty of project timelines, deadlines, resource allotment, scheduling reviews and so on. Until then, they will probably still need to go old-school: click on the Start button and head to Microsoft Excel.
